Medal of Honor: Warfighter - Recap Review

What's good

- Occasionally very impressive graphics (thanks to the Frostbite 2 engine).
- Good overall sound design.
- (More variety in terms of mission settings than its predecessor).

What's bad

- Incredibly buggy! The whole arsenal: from minor technical glitches to game-breaking bugs!

- Horrendously bad A.I. (Your allies and enemies are practically braindead).
- No identity of its own and by-the-numbers-military-shooter (COD-rip-off).
- Nonsensical and boring main story.
- Emotional sub-plot about soldiers' family life falls completely flat.
- Frequent stupid breaching sections.
- Pointless breaching techniques that lead to no different results!
- Annoying driving stages!
- Very standard and unengaging multiplayer.

WTF!-Moment

- Preacher's ghoulish looking daughter!

The Verdict

Medal of Honor: Warfighter seems to have learned nothing from its predecessor's mistakes. Except for some impressive graphics (again thanks to Frostbite 2) and the same good sound design, Danger Close Studios once again delivered a military shooter from the bottom of the barrell.
Instead of solving all the main problems from the previous Medal of Honor, Danger Close decided it was better to just ignore them and develop new aspects of the game to fuck up like a pathetically executed family background story.
It's a miracle to me how a studio with so much financial backup can spit out such a horrifically unappealing and buggy game.Without the Frostbite 2 engine pulling it up, MoH: Warfighter would be even worse than its predecessor.
Ultimately, it is just as much of a waste of time than its miserable predecessor.

Final Verdict: 5 out of 10
Status: Lazy!
