The Verdict

Although Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is basically a monotone corridor shooter, it has enough merits to make it worth a playthrough. Ever wondered what Red Dead Redemption's gunplay would be like in first person view? Well, here it is.
Despite the fact that the entire game has as good as zero variation in gameplay and pretty much entirely consists out of walking through linear levels shooting your way through, shooting dudes with dual wield revolvers and shotguns while using bullet-time is fairly satisfying.
And although even that easily gets repetetive after a while, the entertaining and cleverly told story (stories actually) with authentic voice acting are just enough to make you keep playing through the 5 hour campaign at least once. Still, i would only suggest buying it if it's cheap and on sale.

Final Verdict: 6 out of 10
