Alien Designer H.R. Giger Has Passed Away.

Due to injuries from a falling down stairs at his home in Zurich, famous artist H.R.Giger has died at age 74.

Mostly known for his dark cyber-organic artstyle and design work on several movies, Giger has been an inspiration for several artists and moviemakers around the globe.
Most notably recognized for his work on Ridley Scott's "Alien", Giger designed and sculpted the Xenomorph, one of the most iconic monsters in cinema history.
But his trademark artstyle isn't only apparent in the Alien franchise. Aside from other movies like Species and Poltergeist 2, his work is additionally spread out in various other genres of entertainment: several music album covers and even artwork in video games like Dark Seed 1 & 2 feature his signature work.

R.I.P. Mr. Giger.
