Actor Robin Williams Dies at Age 63

Famous Hollywood actor Robin Williams was found dead at his home on Monday.

According to a press release, the cause of his death is believed to be suicide by asphyxiation, which makes the loss even the more tragic.

Robin Williams was an Academy Award-winning Hollywood actor and multiple Academy Award-nominee mostly known for his comedic roles in family friendly entertainment movies like Hook (1991), Aladdin (1992), Mrs. Doubtfire (1993) and Jumanji (1995), but also in more recent ones like the Night at the Museum movies (2006, 2009, 2014).
Yet, Williams also showed that he was capable of performing more serious, dramatic and sometimes even dark roles like in Dead Poets Society (1989), The Fisher King (1991), One Hour Photo (2002), Insomnia (2002) or Good Will Hunting (1997), which granted him his Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Robin Williams for many people was an essential part of their childhood memories about the movies they grew up with. Even in critically panned movies, it's practically impossible to hate Williams one bit.

Robin Williams will therefore be greatly missed by both young and old generations

Rest in Peace, Mr. Williams.
