The Rock vs Earthquakes in the San Andreas Trailer

After fights against Vin Diesel and Jason Statham, the next enemy of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is...mother nature itself.
In the upcoming disaster movie San Andreas, The Rock has to deal with multiple devastating earthquakes that destroy the entire west coast of the U.S.
Visually somewhat very much similar to 1998's Deep Impact and Roland Emmerich's 2012, the destruction and apocalyptic feel obviously is on the forefront in San Andreas. Judging from today's released trailer, San Andreas looks very much like a movie that easily could've been released in 1990s when disaster movies where at its most popular peak.
Seeing that this is the first time action hero The Rock will tackle a non-human enemy and rather deal with rescuing people from crumbling building and other hazards (like Sly Stallone in 1996 with Daylight), we will have to wait and see whether San Andreas has anything new to tell or show aside from the U.S. getting destroyed (again).

San Andreas hits theaters on May 29, 2015.
