EA Finally Reveals Star Wars: Battlefront Gameplay...Sort of

Episode VII: The Force Awakens is not the only thing that is hyping Star Wars fans all around the world recently. This year's Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, California also boasted the allegedly first full reveal trailer of EA's upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront.
Being the third entry in the Battlefront franchise, Battlefront was long awaited by fans with expectations sky-high. Minor glimpses here and there including a behind-the-scenes video at last year's E3 showed short snippets of what is supposedly in-game footage.
But it is today that a complete first reveal trailer was released for the public to see.

Taking place mostly in the forests of Endor, Battlefront's first full trailer showcases in-engine gameplay footage of the game, which is obviously very choreographed though.
Despite the visuals in the trailer looking absolutely gorgeous, nailing the atmosphere, explosions and sounds pretty much spot on, the Battlefront trailer is nice to look at, but feels a bit too "constructed" for its own good.
With that said, while featuring multiple cool scenes on different planets, the Battlefront trailer feels more like a CG-rendered trailer instead of a trailer showing actual player-controled gameplay footage.
Being only the first trailer though, it is pretty much guaranteed that in-depth "actual" gameplay is going to be showcased at this year's E3 in June.

With additional info though, that Star Wars: Battlefront won't feature any settings, vehicles or characters from the prequel trilogy, won't have a campaign and won't feature space battles, EA has to present something very impressive during E3 if it wants to balance out these disappointing news.

Star Wars: Battlefront is set for a November 17, 2015 release for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
