Assassin's Creed: Syndicate Will Take You to Victorian London!

The new Assassin's Creed for this year has officially been revealed.
This time, the newest entry in the long running franchise is going to take players to Victorian London.
There, players will assume the role of Jacob and Elvie Fry, who are fighting the war against injustice and poverty. Fighting for the citizens living in London's slums, Jacob and Elvie along with their Brotherhood/Syndicate of allies and fellow assassins, try to free London from the dominant Templar influence - slum after slum.
Very much similar in gameplay and theme to last year's Assassin's Creed Unity, Syndicate as of now mostly feels like a simple relocation for the franchise. Fighting for the justice of lower class citizens as well as most of Syndicate's mechanics seem like they are ripped straight out of Unity.
What marks the biggest difference in Syndicate though is most probably the weapons, the technically more advanced areas and nuances of the fighting style. Everything seems grittier, less shiny and more brutal this time around. If anything, take Jacob's brassknuckles that he can use in combat now as the most obvious indicator. There is still much we haven't seen from Syndicate yet. But this is pretty much guaranteed to change with next month's E3. And Syndicate should better be firing from all cylinders if its wants to make a true impression and rectify the disappointment of AC Unity.

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate will be released October 23, 2015 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
