The Hateful Eight Come Together in The First Trailer!

Quentin Tarantino returns to the western genre with The Hateful Eight (although Django Unchained was more of a Blacksploitation movie).
Now, a first trailer has been released for the flick. With eight shady characters meeting each other in a remote stagecoach stopover. But tensions ensue when "The Hangman" played by Kurt Russell appears with a prisoner with a bounty on her head.
Of course it is initially awesome to see a cast so full of badass one-liner busting personas like Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Madsen, etc. all in one movie. Sure enough Tarantino's talent of writing good dialogue will have plenty of opportunities to shine in this more condensed movie that almost entirely will take place in and around the stopover location.
However, what turns out as quite surprising is how much humor is present in the trailer. While it was initially thought that the movie would be directed into a more serious style, there are some jokes and gags involved in the trailer that hint at a weird type of comedy in the movie. Thus, it will be interesting to see how Tim Roth's more comicy looking Little Man character will turn out and if Jennifer Jason Leigh will hopefully stop making unfitting gags like mimicing a hanged man (definitely the most cringeworthy part of the entire trailer).

The Hateful Eight will finally meet on December 25, 2015.
